TrustedHosting.in Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy governs all service terminations and refund eligibility related to hosting, domains, licenses, and other associated services provided by TrustedHosting.in. Our goal is to ensure transparency, fairness, and operational continuity for all customers. By purchasing or using our services, you agree to abide by the following terms.

1. Overview

TrustedHosting.in understands that circumstances may arise where clients need to discontinue services. This policy outlines the procedures, timelines, and consequences of account cancellation, ensuring compliance with our Terms of Service and Refund Policy. All cancellations are processed in line with vendor licensing, datacenter, and payment gateway regulations.

2. How to Request Cancellation

Cancellations must be initiated through an authenticated method — either by submitting a ticket in the Client Area or via written email from your registered account address. Verbal, social media, or third-party requests are not accepted. Once received, our billing team will verify ownership, confirm backup status, and process the request accordingly.

3. Effective Date of Cancellation

All cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle unless an immediate termination is requested. Immediate cancellations trigger irreversible data deletion, and no prorated refund will be issued for the remaining days of the service term. For security, deleted accounts cannot be restored.

4. Seven-Day and Thirty-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a seven (7) day refund for monthly shared and reseller plans, and a thirty (30) day refund for annual hosting purchases, subject to eligibility. However, refund eligibility automatically voids if you have used a discount code, free add-on, lifetime offer, or third-party license (see non-refundable conditions below).

5. Non-Refundable and Non-Cancellable Items

The following services and transactions are strictly non-refundable once activated or provisioned. This includes costs we incur from upstream vendors, registries, and licensors that are permanent and unrecoverable:

  • Dedicated IP Addresses: Once assigned, these are registered to your hosting account and billed permanently by the datacenter. Refunds or reversals are not possible.
  • Domain Registrations, Renewals, and Transfers: Domain fees are immediately paid to global registries and are non-refundable under ICANN and IN Registry policies. You may, however, transfer the domain to another registrar anytime.
  • SSL Certificates and Third-Party Add-ons: Once activated, SSLs, licenses, and software integrations (LiteSpeed, Imunify360, JetBackup, etc.) are vendor-billed and non-refundable.
  • Free WHMCS Licenses or Panel Licenses: Complimentary or discounted licenses provided with plans incur internal licensing costs. Once issued, refunds cannot be processed.
  • Discounts, Coupons, and Promocode-Based Purchases: Any order using promotional pricing, referral discounts, or limited-time deals is final and non-refundable.
  • Lifetime and Promotional Offers: All lifetime hosting, one-time payment packages, and promotional giveaways are final and excluded from refund or cancellation-related reimbursement.
  • VPS, Dedicated, and Cloud Servers: Resource-based products (with unique configurations and IP allocations) are excluded from refund eligibility once provisioning begins.
  • Customized or Managed Services: Any custom setup, migration, malware cleaning, or security audit service is fully delivered upon execution and not eligible for refund.

6. Effect of Cancellation on Services

When a cancellation is confirmed, all hosting services, databases, emails, and files will be permanently deleted from our servers. Access to the control panel, backups, and license keys will immediately cease. Customers are strongly advised to download all backups prior to submitting a cancellation request.

7. Data Backup Responsibility

While TrustedHosting.in provides automated backup systems for shared and reseller environments, customers are fully responsible for maintaining their own local and offsite copies. We do not guarantee the availability of backup data after account cancellation. Once deletion is complete, restoration is technically impossible.

8. Cancellation of Domain and Lifetime Bundled Services

If your hosting plan includes a free domain or lifetime feature (e.g., free lifetime SSL or free WHMCS), cancellation voids the bundled benefits immediately. The domain remains under your ownership but will be billed at standard renewal rates thereafter. Lifetime hosting plans are one-time agreements and cannot be converted, downgraded, or refunded after activation.

9. Early Cancellations and Partial Usage

Early cancellations made after the money-back period will not receive partial or prorated refunds. This includes unused months or remaining term balances. Refunds will only be processed where server-side issues are validated by our monitoring system or datacenter reports.

10. Refund Processing Timeline

Approved refunds (where applicable) will be processed within thirty (30) business days to the original payment method. No alternative payout options or transfers to third-party accounts are permitted. Transaction processing time may vary based on your bank or payment provider’s policies.

11. Suspension or Termination by the Company

TrustedHosting.in reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account, without prior notice, in case of abuse, spam, illegal content hosting, phishing, excessive resource usage, or violation of our Acceptable Use Policy. In such cases, refunds are forfeited and the customer remains liable for any incurred damages or unpaid dues.

12. Prorated Refunds (If Terminated by TrustedHosting.in)

If the Company terminates a service for reasons not related to policy violation or abuse (for example, end of product life or infrastructure upgrade), a prorated refund may be offered based on unused service days. The refund will exclude domains, add-ons, and licensing fees.

13. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Initiating a chargeback or dispute without contacting our billing team violates this policy. Such actions will result in immediate suspension of all active accounts, forfeiture of refund eligibility, and permanent blacklisting. Disputes are only handled through official support channels.

14. Downgrades and Service Conversions

Downgrades from higher-tier plans (VPS to shared, alpha reseller to reseller, etc.) will not trigger refunds. Instead, remaining credits may be adjusted toward future invoices upon approval from the billing team. Lifetime plans and discounted purchases are ineligible for such conversions.

15. Force Majeure and External Failures

Refunds or cancellations will not be issued for service disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, datacenter outages, ISP failures, DDoS attacks, or government-imposed restrictions. Our obligation in such events is limited to service restoration and continuity.

16. Legal Compliance and Data Preservation

Under applicable law, TrustedHosting.in may retain essential account data (such as invoices or abuse records) for audit and compliance purposes even after cancellation. No personal data unrelated to compliance will be stored beyond the retention period specified in our Privacy Policy.

17. No Reinstatement Post Cancellation

Once canceled, accounts cannot be reinstated. To resume service, the customer must place a new order and complete payment. Any reactivation or data restoration request is subject to availability and may involve recovery charges.

18. Disclaimer of Warranties

All services are provided “as is” and “as available” without any express or implied warranties. TrustedHosting.in does not guarantee that its services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Customers acknowledge that cancellation or refund eligibility is governed strictly by this policy.

19. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall TrustedHosting.in or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of cancellation, refund denial, or data loss. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer during the last ninety (90) days preceding the claim.

20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh. Continued use of our services indicates full acceptance of this policy.
